What is the Policy Term for Medical Tourism Insurance?
The policy term varies depending on the type of treatment. Standard application periods are listed below:
1-Year Coverage: Applies to cosmetic surgery procedures and dental implant applications. Any potential medical conditions arising from these procedures are covered under the insurance for 1 year from the date of the procedure.
6-Month Coverage: Applies to hair transplant procedures and other general dental treatments (fillings, root canal treatment, etc.). Medical risks related to these procedures are covered under the policy for 6 months after the procedure.
Who Can Have a Medical Tourism Insurance Policy?
